The 2006 Independent Publisher Book Awards honors Xlibris author for Best Regional Fiction.
Washington D.C. – Bradley T. Platt, author of Deadstream
, won an Honorable Mention Award for Great Lakes – Best Regional Fiction category. Platt, born in Saginaw, Michigan in 1971 and graduated from Central Michigan University in 1994, was formally recognized May 19, 2006 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts flanking with other victors of diverse categories. The purpose of the IPPY Awards

Published November 2005, Deadstream, the first release of a trilogy, talks about a man’s struggle to get through life and how he deals with the muddled tension bubbling beneath the surface of a rural place he calls home.
